Marcel experienced counsellor, mentor and coach, works
with an emphasis on helping people discover true happiness, optimism and hope. For many years Marcel
worked as a pharmacist, and psychologist, under the
auspices of the Medical Model, and he is familiar with its approaches, especially depression and anxiety, common
ailments in many people. Marcel works with individuals,
families and groups.
Methods he currently uses emphasise creativity and
spontaneity through role play and rehearsal. In addition, he
utilises psychological, philosophical and spiritual techniques.
Marcel's innovative approaches,
means people become free to manage
their own emotional and psychological
well being, as well as improving their
relationship with others.
This leads to true happiness,
hope and optimism!!
WORKSHOPS / SESSIONS (for groups)
IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO FIND TRUE HAPPINESS
The series is designed to create awareness raising, in particular, the difference between living a pleasant life, versus living a life of true happiness.
Sessions will consist of discussion and opportunity to practise with the group and at home.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore true happiness, based on the work of Dr Martin Seligman and others promoting positive psychology.
Topics will include
a) Resolving past unhappiness
b) Learning to live with hope and optimism about the future
c) Feeling good in the moment
d) Pleasure versus gratification
e) Discovering personal strengths
f) Leading a virtuous life
g) Learning by observation and rehearsal
WHAT ARE THE FEES?
Fees are affordable, and are discussed prior to the first appointment.
HOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED?
Each person is unique, and progress is
reviewed at each session.
Yes. If the report is elaborate a fee is charged, otherwise brief reports are free.
Generally not, unless in aged care facilities.
Marcel can provide free group workshops
at mutually convenient sites.
